In a word, awful. Bush has had a devastating effect on the country and the world as a whole.
The Dixie Chicks deserve an apology because Bush supporters tried to ban interest in their music and promotion. A pretty mean thing to do for someone using their rights to an opinion. It wasn't even an original opinion.

I know that this won't be popular, but they are Americans and as Americans have a right to speak out against the government. Whether I agree or disagree with them has little relevance. What is important is to preserve the Constitution that so many have fought and died for.

Their vision was prophetic from the standpoint of Bush's failures and disrespect for the American process. By disrespect, I mean using faulty intelligence to get a vote of support for invading Iraq from Congress.
