usually using firefox alone can bypass IE blocks, but it depends on your network admin and what is causing this. Usually there are sites that will list active proxies if you require them.

You don't - the filter is there for your protection and the protection of other students - tampering with it in any way can result in expulsion. If you need to be on MySpace do so at home or at the library. Please note this is a known predator feeding ground and many young people have been injured by people posing as younger and that is why it is blocked. Surf Safe.

OMG this question is so overasked! Quite simply - you don't...and the best answer I've seen for this question to date was Friday, by an actual school teacher. You could find it if you go back through the questions I've answered.

Here's what she wrote:

I'm a high school teacher and I can tell you that even if you do find a website that will allow you through, the district will immediately block it. You risk getting expelled just for wanting to check your comments? Not worth it. Just wait until you get home. There are ways to see who was using which computer at a certain time, so your chances of getting caught are pretty high. How about just focusing on your school work while you're at school? :)

Since there's no adult material (( That I've seen )) on myspace, I'm suprised there's a block for myspace on your schools internet site. But if there's one there.. There's no way you'd be able to without violating your schools internet usage policy and possibly being expelled. Sorry.

yes, you use a completely separate proxy http tunnel, for example you can download torpark (and run it of a usb drive) which uses such a system

http://www.torrify.com/index.php......

Also you can print of a list of free public proxy servers from home, and change your internet explorer proxy settings to use a different one instead, however the blacklist on proxy servers for most web blocking software can be quite extensive (depending on what they are using) so it'll take some time to figure out an uncensored one, use proxy tunnels instead like the one above.

however, if sys admins get wise enough they can always block the ip's you are using for the proxy tunnel, then its time to move on to the next one! ;-)

You can't because you are at school to learn. A lot of us believe myspace is a tool for sexual predators who are looking to take advantage of innocent, trusting unknowing young people who give out too much personal information.

Don't even try, cause every time that you type something in the address bar, the school has a profile made for you and they can see all your records (internet history)
Do it in your house,

You have to find a web server overseas most of the time. Just go to google and search how to break a school filter. It's hard to do... I've tried... Good luck :]
