why is it that league mvp's for alot of sports, dont win the championships anymore?

Because championships are won by teams, not by one player. Most MVPs play for teams who haven't figured out how to put a team around that player.

In addition, with a team, that MVP can't (or doesn't have to) put up staggering stats anymore -- they share the spotlight with their team mates.
