I know your uterus doesnt correct itself until about the beginning of the 2nd trimester, but during your first ultrasound readings will a tilted uterus cause the ob to get a false reading on how far exactly you are?

I Don't have tilted uterus, but in my experience the ob can be very wrong even after repeated ultrasounds all through pregnancy.... I was told initially that I had my dates wrong (I knew I didn't) and eventually that if I had them right then I would have a huge baby (15lbs!!!) which scared me witless.... In the end I had my son 4 days after my due date, and he was 7 1/2lbs. They have yet to explain quite how they could be out by a factor of two on his size!!

do not challenge i become measuring ahead plenty on the end and it really does no longer mean some thing your infant will be larger would no longer my little woman become 8lbs 2 oz..at the same time as born and human beings say that's huge yet she become nonetheless so tiny! the healthcare specialist advised me that the you may seem on the length you've been at the same time as born and the length the daddy become at the same time as born and get somewhat an concept of ways huge your little equipment of excitement will be!

I suppose it depends. I was in a situation like this and they kept measuring me smaller than what I was. They ended up pushing my due date back an extra month even though that would have been impossible. I ended up begging her to induce me. When my baby was born she was well over due and at the 40.5 week mark (according to the delivery dr).

Just keep that in mind, hopefully you will have less complications than I did!

Congrats and good luck

Yes, but only by 2 weeks give or take. They are fairly accurate according to gestational age but not good with determining weight. So don't worry

Yeah you may measure slightly differnt in cm's but you should show a positive and continual growth compared to your own previous readings

yes it can, not to mention ultrasounds are notoriously unreliable for dating and size, 2-3 wks off and 2-3 lbs off.
