where can one find a store that specializes in posters, prints and the like? i.e. movie posters, celebrity prints, videogame images etc...

Ny is huge and there are many of every kind of store. Times Square will have what you are looking for.

There is a store, by the Marriott Hotel, in Times Square, that sells movie posters.

Go to the Village. There are many artist on the street and little stores that sell what you are looking for. You can ask around and the vendors on the street will be able to direct you. Also try the street around Washington Square, near NYU.

I've seen stores in the Malls that sell these types of art.
