You can try the police, restraining order, lock her in her room but if you take this route it is an almost guarantee that she'll just continue on with him even more and perhaps even runaway. If you love your daughter instead of going to these quick fixes perhaps you should seek some family counseling first. Let her know that you love her very much and give her reasons why this is not acceptable. Offer solutions, not demand them. If you can't work this out now without threatening to use law, etc. you are going to have five more years of even worse scenarios.
I was brought up in a strict household but when I had enough and didn't feel loved or understood, I left (sometimes weeks at a time). Why be around people who just demand and threaten that's not love, that's a place to stay away from.
I'm not sure why everyone who wants the cops involved, restraining order, physical harm etc. all get a thumbs up while Tabi (answer20 ) gets thumbs down (I'll probably get one too now). Why condemn her for giving an insight of her younger life, why not listen and learn that involving the law is never the only answer.
As parents, if you don't at least try understanding why she would seek this man and offer her your love, support and solutions , history will repeat itself. Seek counseling now and find out the real reasons behind this behavior, it will save you all a lot of tears and heartbreak.

I think that you should contact the police, even though there might be a little drama or whatever, an 18 year old should not be able to see a 13 year old. The police might not do anything for you until the guy turns 19, and then your good to tell, they wont put him in jail or anything, they would probably give him a restraning order, not allowng him to come near your daughter.

Call the Police and ask them to issue a No Trespass Warrant on him, if he comes to your home again after that he can be arrested. As well ask your attorney to get a restraining order, that is another way to get him to stay away because violating that will send him to jail. He is a grown man and your daughter is a child, he has no business with your daughter and he will take advantage of her. Keep her safe from this predator.

Contact the police what he is doing is illegal and really creepy. Sometimes people understand the words "go away" better if they are shouted while you are beating them about the head and shoulders with a baseball bat. Try it guarantee he will get the message loud and clear and who cares about legal this is your little girl I would do anything in my power to keep men like that away from my daughter.

I would call your local police and file a restraining order. However, the system sucks and if it were *me*, I think I would pay him a little visit and make myself very clear to him. So clear he would be insane to even THINK about my daughter.
Actually, I probably wouldn't have to do any of the above. My husband is a hot head and an advid hunter and has a huge arsenal of weapons. I think he would make a huge impression on the 18 yr old if you know what I mean.

ok I was in that situation, I was the 13 year old. My parents hated it. But if they did something harsh like you want to, I would have just rebelled and found a way to be with him and my parents not knowing about it. and believe me..your daughter is probably capable of that too all girls are. instead, my mom would let me see the boy ONLY at the house. he was allowed to come over after dinner to watch a movie or something and they kept checking on us. He also had to leave by a certain time. My parents sat me down and talked to me about it. They trusted me. and I appreciated that. eventually, the guy got sick of it he knew he was too old for me and just dumped me. I was heartbroken, but atleast I didnt try to sneak around with him or lie to my parents or anything like that. Have alittle faith in your daughter if you raised her right you shouldnt have anything to worry about but I have a feeling calling the cops or something harsh like that, will only make you have a bad relationship with your daughter. Oh and incase you are wondering I am 21 years old now an married to a man 6 years older then me. so I am not some 15 year old that doesnt know what she is talking about :0) just trying to give some friendly advice.

That is whats happening with my sister,
She is 13 and a 8 th grader. and this
stalker type boyfriend guy is a senior in high school.
which is pretty lame.
I cannot think that this would ever happen.
But my mom blocks his calls deleted him from her
MySpace account and everything.
The cops is a little to much but my mom has threaten them before.

That's called child molestationor underage rape, even if your daughter likes him, only it's because she's too young to have a bf and she's being brain washed.
Do your daughter a favor and call the police, she'll realize one day that you did the right thing for her when she grows up.

Threaten him!! Tell him if you find out that he is seeing her you will call the police. Tell him any sexual activity and you will see him in jail. You telling him to stay away should be enough for the police to go visit him once at least so if he comes around call them.
