I recieved the same thing in the mail, i was so excited,i wasn't going to send my money to the lady they gave me, i was just goign to cash the check hahaha, anyways, i went to a Wells Fargo bank in Minot, ND, and the lady told me it didn't look like one of their checks, so she called someone about the check and came back to me.. She told me the check was counterfitted, so if you ever recieve this **** in the mail again, turn them in.. i had my hopes up soooo high knowing that i just got a $2200.00 check.. it looked real, i could have cashed it , but i would have owed the bank back the money... I want to turn these people in, how do we do that though?

Contact the BBB and see if this company is legit. Make sure the check itself is legit. They have cashier's checks that are not... so before you send this man a "processing fee", let him know you will do so after the check clears.. tell him 10 to 15 days... for clearing purposes.

Do a google search on the company.

It is likely a scam. They are very good forgeries, that can take the banks weeks to figure out that they are fake. In the meanwhile, the money you send him will already clear. If you did not do business with the company, why would they send you a check?!
