I have GIMP, but I cannot figure out how to create a short 2 frame animation. I just want to have the 2 pictures flip back and forth continuously so that I can post it online. I have looked through GIMP's help and it doesn't help. =( Can anyone give me step by step instructions on how to do this.

THANKS!!!

I struggled with this forever, then gave up.
I downloaded a free program that was super easy. All it does is makes animations like you are trying to do. It was called UnFreez 2.1. I downloaded it from http://www.whitsoftdev.com

Hmm Gimp as far as I know is an image manipulation program, but does not generate animations, generate the 2 frames as separate images then pull 'em together with a gif animator mentioned above.

Cheers
