You are feeling a sense of danger for your friend. Only you can see that her life is complex and not going in the right direction, and she can't see this.

Help her out, and talk to her.

There are those who would put exact meanings on all dreams.

Dreams are very personal and so what images colors, sounds, sights, and feelings in the dreams would be important,

Such as how did you feel when you saw the snakes, how did you feel when you realized your friend was acting like it was nothing? What do snakes represent to you if anything? Did anything else stand out in the dream if so what did it mean for you?

But just based on the few things you said snakes in most cultures except judeo-christian represent transformation, change, the shedding of the old conditions for new.

So this could mean that there are changes many surrounding either you, your friend, or your relationship with your friend and how you reacted to those changes is equally important if they are meant for your friend it would indicate that the changes are not going to make a huge drama in her life.

But how did you react to it?

Since the snakes were large, maybe they could have something like a boa constrictor. Are you feeling suffocated in the friendship or is she perhaps feeling this way? Also, you don't mention whether or not she is just a friend or if you would like it to be something more. You don't say if you are male or female. The snake can also represent surpressed feelings. Maybe you like her and it is eating you up inside. If that is the case talk to her and let her know or the dreams won't stop.

Your friend has many enemies. This much is guaranteed. But the rest depends on your situation. Either She does not see them. This is if you know about these enemies. Then your mind is telling you to tell her. Because only you can save her. Or it is that you know you have enemies, and are having a hard time dealing with them. In this case your mind is showing you how your friend is calm and collected in the face of enemies. If she is wearing white, you feel she/you are innocent and justified. If there is greenery around you (trees or shrubs) your dream may have religious connotations. These are too complex for just this passage.

In Javanese, serpents/snakes in dreams are referred to as the "soulmate". If the snake chases you, that means the time of your encounter with your soulmate is near. If the snake bites you, that means you're bound to spend the rest of your life with whomever you're with at the moment. If the snake/snakes just linger around, that means you should make the first move to the "you-know-who" in your life. In your case, it could just be your friend. Or your friend could be the person to lead you to your soulmate :)

Snakes represent your sexuality. Think of a portion of a guy's anatomy that's "snake-like". Maybe you think, subconsciously, that you're aware of guys, and your friend isn't, or that you're paying attention to guys, while she isn't? Something along those lines.

i like the first answer, can you think of any reason you are concerned for her? is she doing something that might turn out bad in the end?

it may also be a sense of pride, she is more confident than you perhaps?
