You know that will never happen. This burden will be carried by the shrinking middle class, their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. As it stands now, every man woman and child currently owes $26K, that means my household alone owes $78K towards this debt and it will continue to grow until we get out of the quagmire Bush and the neo cons created. So much for it only costing the American people a maximum of $10B according to Armitage, $50-$100B according to Rummy, Wolfie and the rest of the cabal.
I saw that some idiot on here said we have already paid for it in taxes. what the hell is he smoking. This money is borrowed. $1 trillion of this debt is held by China another is held by Saudi Arabia. This whole Iraq war of choice is financed on paper, nothing has been paid yet. He is putting off the payments for the Bush folly on the next generation, This president has borrowed more money than all 42 presidents before him combined

CLAIM: In terms of the American taxpayers contribution, [$1.7 billion] is it for the US. The rest of the rebuilding of Iraq will be done by other countries and Iraqi oil revenuesThe American part of this will be 1.7 billion. We have no plans for any further-on funding for this. USAID Director Andrew Natsios, 4/23/03

Who's us? Aren't we all Americans paying the same price for this war? I don't know any families of soldiers who wouldn't willinging give up another $600 billion to have their sons and daughters alive again.

I wish all this war cost was money. That would be easy.

Tell you what. just subtract it from the total of trillions of dollars that the libs owe for Social Security, Medicaid, medicare.

DID YOU KNOW: If you were able to put the amount of money that goes to Social Security(from you and your employer) into an average 401k you would end up with more money for your retirement than Social security will provide you!

it's a very difficult situation we are in. everyone is endangered by anyone. working out for peace is much harder. and the price to be paid is even greater.

it's like paying for a bodyguard every single day of your life.

so what do we say? stop the hate

shall we make more wars and pay some more?
