you can not be serious?

there is NEVER an appropriate time to shake a baby!

if you are serious in your question you should be ashamed...

I think my daughter is lucky... she wasn't picked up and shaken till she was just five..she is very small... I called and told the dr she was vomitting and had a migraine.... which is odd for a child that age... and a fever... dr asked if she had fallen or anything.. her father had picked her up by the arms and shaken her.... so the dr. thankfully ordered testing... ten yrs old now and she gets headaches.. migraines still.... and very sick from them.... and she had next to no damage compared to children who get shaken harder!

if you are serious? then here is what you need to know... a baby, toddler and small children still have growing brains.. therefore the skull is larger than the brain!... and until it fills in, when you shake? even lightly, it is like if you take an egg and scramble it... the damage is at times so severe they do not live.... other times it can cause brain damage that is horrific... all due to what? temper? inability to "cope" pressures too much? why? for my daughter she gets to live with at the very least migraines for the rest of her life all because she did not want to eat when her daddy told her to... she wasn't hungry.... there is never a good reason...

instead of preparing a defense? you should be preparing an apology... and begging the court to put you away till you can control yourself around people! you have no defense! you are an offense! someone ought to pick you up... and shake you as hard as possible!

I hope this was not for real... I pray there is not another child out there hurt due to stupidity of an adult who can not control himself/herself... this is a sick joke though if it is one....

Are you kidding? It is NEVER appropriate to shake a baby. You DO NOT have a defense. Someone shook you too or did you get dropped on your head? By the way, are you representing yourself? You'll have some time to become more acquainted with the criminal codes while you play jail house lawyer.
Get real. You need some help. That's right! You can blame this on your mom!

It depends on what your definition of shake is. My definition...never, ever shake a baby. Can you imagine being shook like that...it would be the equivalent of a car wreck.

Shake
1 : to move irregularly to and fro
2 : to vibrate especially as the result of a blow or shock
3 : to tremble as a result of physical or emotional disturbance
4 : to experience a state of instability
5 : to briskly move something to and fro or up and down especially in order to mix
Doesn't sound like something a baby should have to go thru.

wow this is for your defense? well let me help you prepare one, make sure you let the judge know that you were dealing with a vicious baby here and that you ultimately feared for your life. how old is the baby, cause the younger the better ok. now after you have established that this vicious little one was out to get you and destroy your life jump out the window of a ten story building or just hang yourself CAUSE YOU DESERVE IT YOU SELFISH INCONSIDERATE JERK!!!! NEVER, YOU CAN NEVER SHAKE A BABY OR A CHILD!!!

NEVER. Its NEVER the childs fault in which a parent shakes a baby. Just because a baby cries and you cannot get him/her to stop does not mean you have the right to shake your baby.

it is never appropriate to shake a baby. if you were a good attorney/lawyer you would try to place the blame on mental anguish or stress, but honestly the guy should fry. you NEVER EVER shake or abuse a baby or child.

There is never ever an appropriate reason to mistreat a baby/child.

I really hope this is a joke and you THINK you are being funny. Either way, you are an idiot.

I think you are just another idiot looking for attention. Do you realize that there are babies out there who have been shaken and have died from it? You are making a joke out of this? I hope someone shakes you and puts a good beating to you.
