Does make-up give you confidence, or does it make you worry how people see you when it comes off?

Both at times. I am scary without mascara! But as I am pale, I need a little definition. I find as I get older and more confident and have grown into myself, I really could care less.

I think makeup is really just grooming, like a decent haircut and nice clothes.

I'm sure everyone has different answers of course but for me personally I don't wear much makeup. I usually curl my eyelashes and wear lip gloss. When I do wear some eye make up I just use it to accentuate my eyes. I'm not worried about people seeing me without make up because as I said, I don't wear it every day and when I do wear it I don't wear much at all. Sometimes it does give me a little more confidence because I think I look nice with a little make up.

Neither, just like to wear a little to change my look from time to time. Confidence can be boosted, but if you wear so much make up that you look markedly different when not wearing any, then you're overdoing it. Heavy make up never looks good, just take a walk through the cosmetics section of any department store and you'll see what I mean!

Well I have never been one for the makeup however, I recently saw myself in a mirror in a shopping Mall never will I ever go out without my makeup on again..I looked so dour and perri wally and thought OMG is that me. So yes I think that wearing makeup can give you confidence as long as it is applied correctly and does not look brash.

If you don't mind me saying you look as though you could do with a quick brush up to improve your complexion.

Wearing make-up before I go out makes me not worry who I am going to bump into as those people may not have seen me without make-up i.e. work colleagues, and they may think I look older or even ill without it! Those who see me after taking my make up off, are the very privileged!

i wear make-up but i don't know what people think of me while i weared make-up...I don't know whether it suits me or not. But, little bit i hesitate to apply make-up. During outing i just wear cream and dust with powder and a little of lipstick and eyeliner that makes me better confident than wearing the make-up.

Generally girls looks cute without make-up.

I wouldn't say that it boost,s my confidence,But it makes me feel a lot better in myself,I put on makeup for me,Nobody else,My husband loves me no matter how i look.
