maybe theres a firewall blocking it ...

Open McAfee security center, click on "personal firewall plus" on the left handside, and in the top right hand corner you should see a box saying "updates" it has a picture of the world next to it...

Click on this and it will open a new window, click the middle box "configure" and check the necessary boxes!

Click on Mcafee security centre and follow the on screen instruction or alternatively you can contact their customer support centre - trust me they are helpful

My recommendation, (Though blunt, and tather unjustified) Is ditch Mcafeem and get AVG online. It's a much better system. I have it on all of mine. It's a free download, so that's bonus!

I don't know what YOUR problem is but, I hate it!!!! I paid for a year and it keeps asking me to "Verify" account and wont accept my password and so on......Sucks I don't know what to do either.
