I've lost count as to how many times I've broken my toes. No big deal really. It just hurts like hell for a couple weeks when you're walking but you can learn to ignore it. My hands are my living. Anything happens to them and I'm in trouble.

I think I would take the broken toe. I am right handed and I would not be able to do anything!

It's going to take time to heal. I broke my big toe in Maui trying to get snapshots of some awesome waves balancing on a rock in the sea like a idiot (LOL) almost slipped trying to escape a huge wave. It's taken yrs. for it to heal completely literally. Not sure, but always heard there's nothing a doctor can do for a broken toe. For a broken finger yes--just go to the doc office

If your asking what would you rather have,I'll say a broken big toe, because you don't really need a big toe to walk, but you need a thumb to grip objects ,if your right handed that is,then,a pen, hammer, steering wheel,a cup,etc....

Toe... I could still walk with a broken toe.
I am a right handed person and that would be very inconvenient.
