My girlfriend is an admin at an engineering firm in boston. She is not very interested in engineering and would like to find an admin job at another company.

She should go to an employment agency or look on Monster.com .
Most admin jobs are posted on Monster.com
If she has excellent admin skills tell her she should try to get a job working at a Hedge fund company, the pay is excellent.

investment management companies are interesting to work for, or law firms ( but can be difficult to get). Investment Co, are always looking for administrative workers, lots of filing, phone answering, trip planning. Try using Robert Half International Staffing, register and look for a temp to perm job, they are very professional and traded on the NYSE. They work with many corporations to find replacements. Thats how i started a few years ago..
