I think you sound like a very nice and compassionate person. Yes, it is a very nice thing to do for another. You may just change thier whole day because of it. We never know what effect we may be having on another person, even with just a nice hello and a smile to back it up. Keep up the good work. Stay as sweet as you sound. If I could, I'd send you nice surprise card in the mail. :)

It sure makes me feel good when someone sends me a card or letter unexpectedly. Especially if they know I'm going through a hard time, and tell me in the card or letter that they're thinking about and praying for me.
I love your RAK idea.

Oooo that is a really good idea. People really do forget how far a simple card really goes. Thank you for the idea, I just recently moved away and I think I might go to the store and buy a couple cards for the special people in my life, I've never thought of surprising them just to surprise them.

There is nothing wrong in sending cards or letters to friends. I love getting them. When I get a letter or a card from someone then I know that they are thinking about me.

I find it refreshing that some people still do that. As a soldier in Kuwait, there was no greater joy that getting a letter. Most were from strangers who wrote to any soldier and I promise it didn't matter that the people didn't even know my name. Cheers to you.

Yes I would feel good about that. I've gotten cards like that, and they really made my day so much brighter, I've sent them too and gotten calls and cards from the person telling me how much they appreciated it, and then we caught up with each other on life. Ah the simple joys of life, Hugh?

it depends on who the person is but yes i would feel good cuz it might be about good news or bad and i think it is important to know how other people are doing no matter how long it's been since the last time you spoke to them and just hope they keep you updated in more months to come.

I love sending people mail. They never expect it because of the whole inter-web thingy. It makes me happy because it makes them happy.
