What kind of problems I guess it depends if there is kids involved? Animals, bills, enough food to cook with, a extra car to get to town (if one lives miles from town), enough oil in the heat furnace,if the housewife is not board to death, if she has friends to talk to, if she has a TV, basically if she has something to do other then the same old same old.
I have a disabled kid and another still here with us so I guess I am considered a stay at home mom? A caregiver?
When I got out of the "working" world it was hard to get used to being at home. The kids of course loved it, and still do (as I just gave meds to the disabled child for he is sick today and he hates missing school). Usually those who get to be stay at home anythings we do not have the same problems as those who go to work and drop kids off at a daycare or kids have school and have to go to school sick....We give up money for the wealth of our family. I guess there are some rich couples who do not have to worry about money?

Trying to keep a clean house, well beahved, well nourished and educated kids, balance the household budget, run errands for hubby and make sure he has a hot home cooked meal when he gets home and look like Pamela Anderson while doing it all. Its a 24/7/365 job, with no pay, no vactions and sometimes, no thanks.

Lack of adult conversation. If you're at home with the kids every day, I feel sorry for the next telemarketer who calls you.
