If what you wrote I understand correctly, here is the equation in a slightly different manner: -3/2x = 6, OK?

If yes, -3 = 2x multiplied by 6 = 12 x

So x = -3 divided by 12 = - 1/4 or - 0.25

take -3/2 away from both sides so you have 3/2+6=x then you should know what to do
