Why do black people blame their problems on white people when they bring most of it on themselves? Sure, a long time ago black people were brought over to America and used as slaves, but they sure like to forget that it was other black people who sold them as slaves. They should be at least thankful that their forefathers suffered through hell, and now they are living in America where they have oppertunities to be something besides a bush dwelling, spear throwing savage. Why do black people say the white man keeps them down, when black on black crime is such a huge problem. Why is it that black people will complain about things that happened to their kind 200 years ago? You don't see the Jews moaning and griping about stuff that happened to them a mear 60 years ago, they just take their problems wit a grain of salt and continue to prosper, whereas blacks just complain about things and never attempt to make a difference. When are they going to get over it? I am not trying to be rude.

I don't think you are rude, but the generalization is so broad. Have you been in the country store and listened to the poor white people talk about how they are being surpressed because of Blacks? They blame all of their problems on the Black people. They are saying the Blacks are holding them down, they can't prosper because the Blacks are getting everything. I am saying, it depends on which camp fire you are warming yourself by as the the moaner's version. I am thinking that maybe the Jews don't sit around the same camp fires with you. I personally blame my parents for my plight. They had heridity illness genes, not enough money, weren't extremely beautiful people and I could go on and on as to why I don't have it all now. I hope you don't think I am being rude either. I think it is human nature to blame others for our misfortunes, no matter what they are or why they exist.

Your basic premise is all wrong. For example, the reason there are historically black colleges are because Blacks were once not even allowed in "white" colleges, prep schools or even high schools (vestige of slavery). These Black colleges now accept white students. And you still have byproducts of racism in colleges. For example, a person such as Bush gets into Yale because of the legacy system. Since Blacks once were not allowed to go to Yale, no legacies for many generations and thus, while Blacks can now go to Yale, a student with low grades whose grandparent never was allowed in Yale can't get in with crappy grades. As for the Jewish comment, as I recall, they were actually given a country after World War II as recompense for the horrors of the Holocaust and Nazi oppression. Whether one agrees with that or not, it happened. The Arab world was and remains just a little pissed about that. Finally, have you ever been to Africa? They have cities and electricity and tall buildings and running water. Like America, they also have slums. Only difference, they have many dirt villages instead of trailer parks and homeless shelters. And your reference to "spear throwing savages" tells us that you have not once thought about any of this intelligently.

You say you are not trying to be rude. You don't come across rude at all. You do however come across very much a bigot, a racists, ignorant and very ill informed. Stereotypes are a very huge issue within society and you have touched a big one here. Do some research, meet and get to know some black folks personally, then make an educated and informed decision. Have a great day and God bless****

I sort of agree with you, but I don't think it's fair to lump all blacks into the same category. I know a lot of blacks who are happy, hardworking, and certainly not involved in crime. But I also know a lot of lazy white people....so it's not fair to separate people by color. I think that all Americans, regardless of color, should be thankful that they live in a country where they have the opportunity to work and make money, marry the person they love, and have a home and children. Anyone can have these things if they are willing to put some effort into it. But on the other hand, anyone can commit crimes, or gripe and complain about anything they want to. It's all in the decisions we make, and where we set our priorities. It has nothing to do with our race.

A bush dwelling, spear throwing savage? And your not trying to be rude? I think you are racist. Get a life and leave Black people alone. I blame the problem of racism of people like you who like their ancestors before you can still call other people savages.

By the way, slavery in the United States only ended about 150 years ago.

Anyway, I do agree with the gist of what you're saying. It seems to me that, if anything, blacks in the United States are actually more racist against whites now than the other way around. I think everyone, regardless of skin color, needs to wake up and see that problems are caused by individuals, not races, and then work together to solve those problems.

Although I agree with a lot of what you said the problem comes when you group "all" black people together, or "all" of any race. Still it does bother me that blacks can have colleges for them but if whites were to open an all white college you can bet the ACLU would be falling over themselves to file lawsuits.
