I'm from the US and it is still very difficult to get the Wii at the stores here. They typically only ship a few at a time to such retailers as Game Stop, Best Buy, etc. If you're looking for the console only, I would try www.nintendo.com. They should be able to help you find a shop near you. My other suggestion, if you are looking for the bundles (console plus games), is to try the vendors like toysrus.com, bestbuy.com, gamestop.com. It may take awhile, but it paid off for me in the end. I hope this helps your hunt and Good Luck!!

I had ordered one from Studio at the beginning of January but they informed me last week that they wouldn't be getting any more until April. All the websites i checked said out of stock so what i done was phone round all my local stores, Argos, Woolies, PC World, Game etc. Last week my local Game said they were getting in a small delivery of them on Sunday morning. So my hubby went out and queued yesterday morning, he went a couple of hours before the shop opened at 11am, was first there and got one.
They only had 4 consoles delivered so we were lucky to get one.
So my advice would be to phone all your local stores, they will be able to tell you if they are expecting a delivery of them and when. If you find out they do, just make sure you are there in plenty of time before hand so you get one.
Good luck!!!

I would advise you to constantly check local shops. Especially ones in city centres. One of my friends got a Wii purely through luck as he found it in a Virgin Megastore. Each store gets an allocation, so find out when their deliveries are then visit them relentlessly. Stores to keep an eye on in order of usefullness are:
Game Stores
Virgin Megastores
HMV
Woolworths
PC World
Argos
I cant stress this enough: do NOT give up when it says they are out of stock, this applies to their central stock depot. It may not apply to the retail outlets. Check out the sites below, once again in order of usefullness, to find your local store.
Happy Hunting
