f(x) appears to be x^-2x and is a parabola.

A function is odd if f(-x) = - f(x)
In this case f(-x)= x^2+2x which is not = -f(x) so not odd.

A function is even if f(-x) = f(x)
In this case f(-x) not = f(x)

This function is neither odd nor even.

Some functions are neither odd nor even. Maybe this is an example of one.
