I am so with you, i hate this crap. Ohh you're taking a life!!! yea, i life I created!!! There are soo many people in this world, who cares if we are one less? It's not like they are gonna remember it! All this crap about potentailly killing another Einstein blah blah you could be killing the antichrist, there is no way to know that. There are some people should definitely be able to have abortions. What kind of life is it to live with abusive parents, or growing up on the street, in the cold, without food, I think I would rather just die.

Control is a very important condition. In no other case do we have a government given control over our ability to allow the use of our body for nine months. There was always the opportunity to abort if you had enough money, you could go to Sweden, or some other country where it was safe and legal. So the poor either died or had more kids which left them even poorer. This impacts on crime, school taxes, welfare, health care, and housing costs both for the mother and the child. One baby can cost thousands and thousands more than one abortion. So on many levels its a big deal.

I don't get it either. When you look back before abortion was legal, it was still being performed, alot of them in back allies and god knows where else. If you notice more men will answer your question and slam you like your a dog for bringing it up, than women. The women are ones affected, not men. And when you see the protesters they look like escaped mental pateints, acting like it's them getting aborted. I, like you, just don't get it. I do understand this one girl I knew got one every 5 or 6 months and that kind of think needs to stop because it was paid for through some government funding. But I knew a 14 year old girl that it happened to one time and she went on to be a doctor.

Why is murder such an important issue? I do not understand why something that affects a very small percentage of people is as important to Americans as taxes, health care, etc.

It has turned into a political polarizing wedge, as has gay marriage/civil unions. This is unfortunate as it is of lesser impact to so many people than (as you say) taxes and healthcare. Crossing state lines and cruising into international waters easily sidesteps local laws on abortion anyway. I am pro-abortion, but I gotta admit, if a 16yo can't get her ears pierced with parental consent, it seems wrong to permit in-patient surgery w/o parental consent.

Well, terrorism and rape are gonna happen too, doesnt mean we cant fight it. If the fetus isnt human life, no big deal. If the fetus is human life, we are responsible for the worlds worst genocide, 1.27 million unborn babies are killed a year, and that is just the abortions for birth control reasons only, add another .1 million for the rest including rape, incest and medical complications. And, scientists, specifically embryologists, are leaning that the fetus is definately human life.

Religious groups use it to get its followers to vote Republican. But But But....we had a dem pres for 8 yrs followed by GWB..and abortion rights and laws didnt change. Making a voting decision based on abortion doesnt add up..neither part wants to touch it.

I know. The Republicans have made this into a big issue in order to get votes from the evangelicals. I like many anti-abortion candidates and I'm pro-choice but that isn't going to stop be from liking a person because their views differ from mine. We need to stop separating ourselves. Abortion happens in low numbers but we have made it into a big issue because we like to fight.

i'm quite particular attainable locate the clips of abortions being achieved on the internet. Google it and seem instantly interior the eyes of that fetus because the "physician" destroys it. Then come lower back right here and tell me how unimportant the priority is that our pets have more desirable rights interior the country than our unborn little ones.

The little fact that an unborn baby is genetically human and thus entitled to remain ALIVE without interference. Basic embryology confirms the humanity of the unborn.
