The best way to find out what is RECOMMENDED for your particular car's 30K is to check the back of the maintenance book that came with your car. Each car has slightly different recommendations, but in general you will be looking at an oil and filter change, check and top off all fluids, check and adjust air pressure in tires, inspect and check drive belts and hoses, transmission check, check out brake system, tire rotation and balance, replace air filter, lube suspension, locks and latches, clean and ajust brakes, inspect boots, shocks and steering, AC check, adjust belts and valves if needed, brake flush and spark plug replacement. I'd call your local shop and get an estimate. On my Subaru, pricing runs about $400

well it depends on the make of car or truck you have and yes the oil is changed no matter what vehicle it is. Check your owners manual it should tell you what is done on a 30K service.
