The movie is "The Messengers".
While it looks good in a fun sort of way, it can't be based on the truth as there is no scientific data supporting the supernatural.

Is it the Messengers? I think I remember seeing that in the preview , the kid pullind down his eye lids.. don't think it's a true story though
