It looked as though RVD trued to eliminate him, but missed and then CHrist Masters just kinda jumped over the rope and eliminated himself.

I don't think RVD missed, I think Masters sold the kick really badly. Funny that you mentioned it, I thought Masters looked like an idiot when he went over too.

If RVD did miss Masters, Masters still went over because that was what was supposed to happen. A similar thing happened last year with Goldust. Even if it doesn't look the greatest, they have to get eliminated when they are told when they go over everything pre-match.

All part of the story. The next thing you know, the next feud in the WWE will be RVD and Masters. Expect that episode in the Rumble as a precursor of a lengthy storyline feud between these two.
And yeah, that will involve serveral PPVs and RAWs and ECWs.
And VKM will be laughing his way to the bank!
