It was all a matter of timing. IF they both would have waited a little longer, then they would have been together...but Shakespere did not want it like that. D@MN time!!!

1968? You mean a movie don't you. The play is a little older than that. At that, it's a very nice play but not one of Shakespeare's greats. I don't think it's worthy of all the hype it's had over the centuries but definitely a nice little story with a not so happy ending in fact, more in idea.

What a depressing and dark story (at least the written story... Are you talking about a movie?) I really can't stand it. The author of the original story clearly states that people who commit suicide go to Hell, and then they commit suicide... What on earth kind of story is that? I guess that's what they mean by calling some stories a "tragedy".... in more ways than one.

To answer your question, I really can't stand Romeo and Juliet.

The movie or the song by Dire Straits (I'm unsure of when that song was mad)? I like the song, but haven't seen the movie. When we read the play in school we watched that new one, with Leonardo DiCaprio. I didn't like it. I loved the play though!

I don't remember the movie much, but I've never liked the play. I'd rather have a comedy like Twelfth Night.

Fools...should have just taken off...not died for love, there is more to life than that.
But at least they found the right poison to do the job and didn't end up vegetables.
