I understand that it still needs to be used in the medical field, but as far as companies using it to test things such as toothpaste, deodorant, and household cleaners (which we all already know shouldn't be sprayed in anyone's eyes) is particularly cruel. There's no need to keep animals around to torture for our personal use products.

obviously these people that do animal testing have no pets of feelings for that matter because if they did then they would understand the pain and suffering some of these animals that are tested on go through. i saw in a book about animal testing a cute white rabbit that had mens cologne sprayed in his eyes. i could have cried. i love animals too much to see them suffer. so yeah...im totally against animal testing its just wrong!!!

It's wrong to test household products. make-up etc etc on animals. We all know these things shouldn't be sprayed in the eyes or inhaled. For medical purposes, it is unfortunately necessary. Without it, medical science wouldn't exist and I think more people would be upset if we used humans for testing. If you go to the doctor, take your pet to the vet, or buy over the counter medicines, then you have contributed to and benefited from animal testing.

I don't like it. I think it's cruel that we test animals for our own needs. I know we need to know these things but what if it was turned around and they were testing us.

i think it is horrible, why should animals be treated any different from us?!! if they don't think of using people for testing, then why should they use animals!!??, especially because the snimals don't have a say!!

It's sick i think it shouldn't be aloud to happen for any reason you don't have to understand what they are saying to know that they are in pain day in & day out it is not fair.I'm sure everyone would feel differently if they found out labs were aloud to start testing on unwanted children.
