Iraq? Over 200 terrorists were killed by the Iraqi National Army in Najaf over the weekend with little help from the US military. That's more terrorists killed in 2 days by the Iraqi Army than the US military has killed in the last 4 months of fighting.

the priority is that a number of the individuals doing the battling their at the on the spot are not battling for democracy. they're battling to attain administration for his or her sect. Terrorist will win. Iran ought to in all likelihood emerge victor. Iraqi Democracy should not be instated if the U. S. does no longer help it alongside. If the U. S. pulled out it ought to seem as if a defeat. this can only embolden more desirable zealous fighter's for terrorism. Iraq would not go with more desirable. finally, terrorism received't and under no circumstances will be defeated. Sectarian feuds were waged for most centuries. it received't only disappear if Iraq turns into Democratic. the U. S. received't "win" some thing interior the fast time period. the only way the U. S. will win is 10 or so years down the line even as people finally see that progression has been made. regardless of the actuality that sectarian violence has strongly challenged that concept. it is strictly what the terrorists go with to take position. reason a lot bloodshed that the yankee people will depart Iraq. Terrorists do no longer fee life like the U. S. does. And it is complicated to strive against an enemy who hides interior it is citizen's. the military is likewise confronted with a huge project of performing interior a police function. Armies at the on the spot are not experienced for that. they're experienced for strive against. no longer as peace officials.

No because there is no Iraqi Arm yet.The Iraqi army was deleted by the decision of the American Governor Brimer in 2003 shortly after occupation and most of it is working within the Iraqi resistance organizations. The 300 killed insurgents may be not terrorists but resistance .Who knows !

It is simple; the Iraqi army does not have all the restrictions placed on it that we do. US troops are not allowed to fire unless they are fired upon first, stuff like that. Also we have been giving the Iraqi army an increasing burdon of taking the fight to the enemy, while we serve in a support and training role.

Iraqi Army doesn't have to worry about being political correct.
The US Army does because if did clean house like an Army should it would be over but too many people don't have the stomach to face the reality of war.
Our troops do but too many liberals will raise such a sink that if couldn't be done.

Here's the difference...

First of all WE trained them. We gave them the air support, pointed them in the right direction and let them go.

Second, they are not bound by our rules of engagement. Therefore, they can shoot when they need to and not have to worry about going to jail. We don't have that luxury.

Third, they went after Sunnis in a Shiite area. Everyone was willing to point them out and dime the insurgents out.

Last, we let them do this operation so they could get the confidence they need so that we can turn it over and move on.

The Iraqi government CLAIMED it had killed over 200 "insurgents". It didn't provide any evidence it had done so.

I agree, we're not needed anymore so leave the killing to them for theirs and get America out. If they are so good why are we still their? I don't know where you got your info., but I for one liked hearing it even if you were slaming our army, makes no difference to me as long as "we ain't there any more"

If our troops killed 200 terrorists, you would be saying that they were civilians, not terrorists, and that every soldier involved should be court marshalled.

well if you look at the facts, the Iraqi forces withdrew and called in the US to take care of the problem, so get the facts straight before you spew your rhetoric.
