There are four types of learning methods. Each individual is different. Two of these methods are Audio and Visual. Others are reading and doing. If you are trying to learn or teach i recommend trying to implement a mix of all so that you can see what works best for you if you are learning. or to be able to give a chance to learn for all of your pupil.

It is an individual question. What works best for you? I have a hard time paying attention to an audio, and do much better reading. I had a friend who could get much more out of a tape. Reading the written word was a chore for him.

Depends on the person remembering... For me, it would be a mixture of both.
