I have heard people say that Texas Hold Em is a sport. I have heard that billiards is a sport. I have heard everything that is near no athletic ability being a sport. I want to know what is a real sport. Is it something that you need to be very athletic for or that you need skills and talent for?

All I can say is that cheerleading is not a sport. It's just a way piss off sports photographers at basketball game.

Not every form of competition is a sport. Tap dancing isn't a sport. Neither is a spelling bee. People think they need to justify an activity by classifying it as a sport. These people really need to get laid.

yeah. sports to me are like contact sports like hockey baseball football soccer
i mean volleyball and tennis are sports too but card games..no.
in our school newspaper, they were saying how band shouldn't be able to letter bc its not a sport. well the next issue was a challenge article about how it is hard work and that they should come and do it for a day and see how they feel afterwards.
now i agree with the first person.
how in the world can band be a sport?
a compitition. thats all.
and even if that person was to go to a band practice for a day, i think they would agree that it was hard work, but still not a sport. so...
i think you can see my opinion on what a sport is now.
