Can somebody explain to me the point system on Yahoo?

I am down to my last points, I have to answer a question now in order to ask one. I have noticed that 50% of the time when I am allowed to still ask that it is not posted on the forum. Has anybody know about this?

Also, what does it mean to "lose points" if you ask a question?

Think lots of people have answered your question but don't think anyone has explained why some questions (not abusive etc) and not posted on the forum. I find this happens to even with loads a points awarded to me.

So to answer your question, it costs points to ask a question. This is to make sure no question goes left unanswered.

At factor one you commence with one hundred factors and also you get 2 factors in accordance to respond to -5 factors in accordance to question you get a million factor for vote casting for a answer. you could ask 20 questions answer questions 20 questions and vote for 25 solutions once you get to point 2 ( you get to point 2 once you've were given 250 factors) you could in truth do double each and everything.

u lose 5 when u ask..gain 3 if u vote for best answer....gain 1 when u log in each day....gain 2 when u answer.....gain 10 when ur answer is picked as best.....lose 12 when ur answer is reported and deleted....gain 1 per thumb-up u get if ur answer is picked as best (up to 50 counted)

also, when u ask a question it doesnt always make the "bulletin board" thing but it is still in the category.
