If i was signed of by my doctor on 24th Jan for 1 Week ! what Day do i go bk to work ?

I was Signed of from work on 24th Jan , On the note it says 1 week !

So would i go bk on Wen or Thur ?

if you live in the UK you can sign youself of for seven days before you need a note, ring the surgery up to clarify when you should go back. but i wouldn't go back till thurs!

I would say 1st of Feb - that is if you were signed off in the evening of 24th Jan.

However if you were signed off during working hours on 24th that day could be counted and your return date then would be 31st Jan.

Of course if you still don't feel well make another appointment with your doc who will be able to determine whether you need more time to recover.

it means that you have 7 days off so the 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, so you would go back to work on the 31st

You go back on the Wednesday, leaving 7 clear days of non-work. Some workplaces require you to get a sign off slip from your doctor before returning, especially if you were not given a precise date to return.

Did your doc ask you to go back and see him,? do you feel fit enough for work? if your doc wants to see u first no, if your not fit no, then go back and have a word with your doc .
