No, the technology for broadcasting in 1080p isn't available through any source. Even if the game was filmed in 1080p, the best you could is 1080i with local access on a dish. Perhaps if it's filmed in 1080p, you'll be able to buy the game on Blue Ray or HD DVD.

....I dunno, what have FOX/CBS/NBC/ESPN been brodcasting their HDTV in? I just tune in and know the picture looks good.

side note -- CBS sucks! (atleast durring the regular season) they only brodcast 2 or 3 games in HD --and it's usually not the Chargers! :(!!! I hope their contract ends soon........ok..I'm done
