We are faced with a movement inside the religion of Islam that is intent on the conquest of the world. It may not be PC or convenient but you need to understand that you will never be able to reason with Muslims. They are driven by a prophesy and they hold more loyalty to Islam than any nation.

Sounds very alike fundamentalist Christians.
In Canada we have a sit com called Little Mosque on the Prairie. It is a good little show and helps people understand each other. I'm sure it would be doomed in the states.

If anyone wants to criticize the war in Iraq, then I want you to watch the documentary on Saddam's regime on the HIstory Channel. Tell me we didn't help those people? I was there. I talked to a LOT of them. They wanted our help.
However, we can be more aware of it as you're suggesting. I always laughed when I was in Iraq and Afghanistan and I saw news headlines about Brittany Spears. How insignificant is news like that when I just killed a man? I think everyone should put down their cell phones and Starbuck's and really think about the rest of the world out there. Maybe then we can get serious.

Since the invasion of Iraq, al Qaeda has gotten a free pass from the US government. As for the radical elements of Islam, they are only intent on destroying our way of life because we are attempting to destroy their way of life through our occupation of Iraq, and our insatiable meddling in the Middle East.
