26 is a fine age to get married....i married my husband when i was 22 and we have been together for 7 years now. i know that it is leggal for people to get married when they are 18 years old, but i think that they should wait a for a couple more years. Like i said i was 22 when i got married and i love my husband dearly, but now that i am older, and wiser(lol) I wish that we would have wautted till i was 26 years old at least then we would have both been done with college, and we wouldn't have struggled so hard financially the first 4 years of our marrige. so , yes,.....i guess 26 is a good age to get married.

Whether marriage at ANY age is the right decision is not a matter of age as much as it is a matter of emotional maturity and the motives behind the decision to marry. I've seen some very immature 40 year-olds who are not committed to a healthy love relationship who should never get married. By the same token, there are people younger than 26 who are responsible, devoted and caring people who love their spouses for all the right reasons and are committed to the partnership and friendship that creates a lasting marriage.

I think 26-27 is just the right age to marry if you are a guy [in india at least]. for a girl 21-23 is ideal. You can enjoy each other's company till u are 28 /29 and think of a baby around this time. Be sure you have saved enough at the time of marraige.

The answer can be "yes" or "no". If you have found the love of your life who is of marriageable age and you have a steady job , then i think it doesn't matter if you are 22 or 26 years of age,you should get married. But if you are 26 or 30years old and haven't found either then there is no point of marrying anyone. I know bachelors who are 35 years old but think and act like 18 or 20 years old and they think they are not ready to get married. I think they are right since mentally ther are not ready. I also know 22 years old guys who think like 30 years old and they think they are ready to get married. So at the end it's your decision , you only know whether you are ready or not .

Well, it really depends on the 26 year old. 26 is a good age because in your mid twenties you are usually graduated from college, living a mature adult life. But then again there are those 26 year olds who are complete slobs. I am 22 and to me 26 is a little young to get married, but if you find the right person and are sure, then what does age really matter?

yes it is
age is unavoidable factor of marriage
and
26 is perfect for it
see
today one cannot raise family only by qualification of graduate
you have to do some specialisation
for e.g. C.A.,C.S.
another important thing is when you are about to retire, your son/daughter should be of an age to take a job.
if you are retiring and he is still studying in school or college
that may create problem.
so it is better to marry at age of 26/27

If you love and trust the person you want to marry then age doesn't matter. I got married when I was 22 and I have been happily married for 15yrs with five children,
My husband had lost his wife two years previous and had two daughters from that marriage whom I now consider to be my daughters too.
People told me I was mad to get involved in such a complex situation but we were in love and still are with no problems and a healthy sex life,it really depends on what works for you.
Good Luck
