My parents bought theirs at Wal-Mart.
Maybe just keep your eyes open there or goto Ebay.

A certain number is made for the year, they may only make one million of Snot Rod. The production order varies on the item, more for a popular character and less on a secondary character.
I had the same problem with Hot Wheels Acceleracers
