www.craigslist.com actually is a re-direct to .org of the same name, then you can find your area to search.
WARNING though - Do not leave out the 's' when typing it in, you'll get a porn site instead. There are also adult items on the real site, so use discretion if allowing a child to access the site for any reason

.com, not .org. Go to the website and check under California and it will list all of the towns.
