We have the same problem. Some channels have duplication in their programming as well. Plus, for what we pay for cable, we shouldn't have to be subject to info-mercials. That is another one of my pet peeves!

Let's face it, There just is not enough good shows on is right. Those that are, are repeats. I have always asked, why have all those channels when we can only watch 1 show at a time?
I have cable and do not know why for all the junk they show.
It is all a money game for which the viewer always looses.

Yes that is so true. I have over 500 channels and there is never anything to watch. I spend most my time turning the tv.

Lets just face it...the quality of cable TV has gone down the toilet.
The average "30 minute" sitcom actually lasts about 16-17 minutes because of commercials.
And the content...Please...
Did you notice that lately, when you watch the news..they have commercials FOR the news DURING the news???!!!???
Oh my favorite...You watch a show and before commercial they tell you what is COMING UP after the break. After the commercial, They tell you what you MISSED before the commercial??!!!??

Here's an idea for you...seriously. Drop your cable company. Save ALL the money that you would have spent on cable for a year. Then you and a friend can go on vacation to Puerto Vallarta. It would be way more fun than rotting in front of the TV.

I think it's because it creates the illusion that there are tons of interesting shows on, so you become too picky and end up not liking anything. We just have basic cable and it kinda forces you to find something you like. I don't know, it's hard to explain.

because in the commercials they show you the good movies and stuff and try to make you think that your in for the treat of your life.
thats why its best just to get basic cable. dont worry. your not missing out on much.
subliminal messaging and advertising can be powerful
