I can't use any of the Nair products, as they eat my skin. I find Nad's much easier to use than any wax. And I use it before my bath, so I can clean up the residue while bathing.
Why would you want to stink like chemicals from using Nair or Veet???

The first answer was right. You put it on before (dont need to wet yourself for a lather), then you wait around for a few mins while your shower water heats up. Then just hop in and wash it off. It takes a while to get it off because it kind of leaves a slick film on your body. Using something rough, like a loofah, is best because it can take away the hairs that do not completely come off. Please don't ask me how I know all this.

Before. But, if it burns you...like it does me...don't continue use. Get in the shower and wash all off. And don't itch. I use veet now. It works great and it doesn't burn my skin. When I used nair it burned me and left scabs for a week and a half.

Before but you should consider using a razor or waxing.
I once dated a girl and she mistakenly used it for shampoo when she was in the shower and she ended up looking like a cue ball.

before you shower so you can wash the excess off. use a wash cloth or a loofah to wipe away the excess. it will also help remove any hair. good luck
