sort of. the "writers" job is to help organize a series of unrelated footage into some sort of story arc. they don't (well they are not suppose to) write actually dialog for the show. they might however write teasers for the show, ie "last time on Big Brother..." however in the case of Idol you could say the writers write some of the original songs that the singers sing at the end of the show.

yes, sort of. AI for example still needs to write segues and pre-recorded segments, especially during the audition stage. but for most reality shows, instead of writers they have people called 'story editors' and their job is to take the footage and organize it into episodes which each have a story or part of the story. but story editors do create dramatic moments and lines that didn't really happen, sometimes with sound effects, or they record someone saying something later in a studio (they put this in by laying the sound over a scene where you can't see the person speaking).

Yes every show has writers who write something periodically, to spice the show up. Sometimes with shows like Big Brother they will keep some people on there for ratings...People who go on reality shows have to be carful because they own you once you sign the waiver form.

With stay feeds, the Cbs airing, BBAD, youtube and each and all the BB sites I spend on standard of roughly 5 to eight hours an afternoon peering into those loopy peoples lives. I additionally get disappointed while somebody i'm rooting for gets bashed, nominated or sent packing!! i'm no longer a nut. I understand that my existence won't exchange (financially) if my p.c.. does not win. inspite of the incontrovertible fact that... I concern that i visit be heartbroken if my p.c.. ought to lose!!
