I have R52 laptop ia forgot the bios password now when i switch on it shows enter date and time?

When i switch on the laptop it tells me to me to enter the date and time and it gets stop there since it is not under warranty i cannot take the lapt to service centre also can some one help in solving the problem

i think uve drained the CMOS battery. what you can do is open it take the battery out and short the 2 terminals using a screw driver or a key
this will reset them CMOS password & settings
