My computer screen as recently starting looking like a checker board. I can still make out the pictures but the colors are really off and there is a checker board pattern.
Its not the monitor, Ive already tested it. How do I determine if its the graphics card or the video card?

Try cleaning your Graphic card, it might have dust on the connection that make the error display.

Graphics card = video card.
Same thing.
If your monitor checks out OK on another PC then its probably your graphics card. It may be the settings... have you changed settings or changed memory settings in the BIOS?
