I guess they didn't notice that you are a vet. I for one of those hated protestors don't want to see anymore of my fellow Americans being killed for an unjust war. I Love my Country and the principles it was founded on and hate to see them corrupted. And to see my Country led by an inept idiot.

Well, Lincoln is not the best choice for a peace protester. I think the US was the only western country to end slavery with such a bloody war.

However, I find it strange that so many pro-war people are fans of the likes of Mark Twain, Henry David Thoreau, Shakespeare and other pacifists.

I guess anyone's words can be taken out of context to support any cause they wish.

I even once saw newsmax (the yellow journalism news tabloid with the Hollywood cults book) calling people McCarthian.

But to answer some of your detractors: If my son worked for a concentration camp should I support him?

None. I don't protest because I support the war. Your question doesn't make any sense. It should be aimed at all the anti-war people who didn't vote or march in protest. Not the anti-protesters who support the war in the first place...

Hate to be rude, but I don't think your son would appreciate people protesting the job he chose to do and gave his life for.

Funny but I was thinking about Congress... and the war. How many questioned it?

How about this quite:
"You're an idiot and if and when we are attacked here in the U.S. you and your idiot friends will be squealing the loudest."
Instead of protesting against the war, you and your Hollywood idiot flunkies should be supporting our troops.

Gee, I don't know? Why don't you tell us?

But then, that would require intelligent discussion wouldn't it?

Forget I asked!

How about this one:

"If you protest when your country is defending itself, you are an idiot" - me.

"Giving comfort to the enemy" is the quote that comes to mind.
