All the while I'm thinking, should we tell blair that farts aren't heavy and that he has a stomach problem...
So I finally read the whole thing and I'm sorry to inform you it was the squirrels, they came down from their tree and did it.

The gas is poor quality and possibly has water in it, which would be especially noticeable when the tank is near empty or there is crap and possible condensation in the tank that gets into the fuel lines when the tank is near empty.

Some cheap gas stations some times have for water then gas in the there gas pumps! I would get a gas treatment and it will help get rid of some of the water in your gas tank!

Water usually enters the gasoline tank by way of air and subsequent condensation. That's why it's recommended you keep the tank full of gasoline and not air.

You could have gotten a tankful of
bad gas.
Only your local filling station might
know it they've suffered from water
condensation in the tanks.
Try putting a couple cans of "Dry Gas"
in your tank.
Usually works.

locking gas cap. It will stop most people. Have it towed and find the loser who did it and let us know what happened.

I hope no one tampered with your car. Maybe it was just condensation! Good luck.
