Yes. It seems as if it's just something we see on TV, but when you actually think about it, some people can't remember whether it's on the fingers or above the knuckles. Actually, I just watched a scene like that a few seconds ago, and closer analysis shows that he kissed her above the knuckles.

I have always thought it was on the ring finger or directly on the back of the hand, but anywhere is fine. It is nice when Men can be Gentlemen.

Ok, when I was 23 I had a 73 year old patient kiss me on my hand about the middle of the back of my hand. He didn't speak any english, so he kissed the back of my hand to show appreciation for being able to insert a needle in his arm when no one else was able to. I swear to you it made my knees weak. I was just as surprised as anyone. I will never forget it.

My husband kisses by hand, palm is nice,and finger tips,and wrist . It flattering ,sweet and respectful. Knunckles don't have a lot of feeling in them. GOD BLESS.
