seriously is it the way he acts, the things he says what is it? i mean what more does he have to do to gain the respect of you people he's beaten superstars like big show, HHH, eddie guerrero, umaga, randy orton, edge (many times) etc. etc. etc. and i think his performance at the royal rumble last night was just the icing on the cake.

Because he is true to himself...and people expect differently I guess they may think he is trying to be black or something losers.

Remember ppl he beat were cause the writters wanted him to. Ppl hate him cause he held the title so long i know rvd had a month so did edge but ppl want to see a diff champ now and nt for just a month. He uses the same moves all the time and the marine thing i think turned more ppl against him. Also having umaga go for the title was a mistake no1 really wanted to see him get the title so u knew cena would keep it

well first off the only way he could beat umaga was to strangle him with the ropes come on would of expected that is a diva's match not a main eventer.
A lot of people are so sick of seeing him with the tittle come on it is time a change.
He is a white rapper gone bad something like Vanilla Ice oh wait he has the same Vanilla hair cut and muscle just like Vanilla.
He needs teen age girls to make him famous.
He has no mic skills at all that are his own. Ever notice how he has to copy y2j the rock and stone cold on the mic skills.
his wrestling moves are so similar to the rocks because he can not wrestle at all he has to copy everyone.

The reason why is because Cena was more impressive when he first started in the WWE. When he was on Smackdown and U.S. Champion, he could wrestle and his character was believe and entertaining.
Now he's more "sports-entertainment" and less in-ring action and wrestling. "Smart" fans caught on to this and rejected Cena because of this. Cena has "Hogan-esque" style that "smart" fans hate! He does the same 5 moves to win every match and it sucks. It's a 1980's character that everyone in the 2000's hates and does not want to see anymore.

First off, who he has beaten doesn't mean jack-squat because the fights are scripted and writers determined who wins and looses. John Cena is garbage period. The hip-hop white guy act is so 90's it laughable and they keep shoving him down are throats forcing us to accept this jerk. Umaga was undefeated for 8 mos and now he's lost 2 straight matches to Cena. Why can Cena not be beat. This makes for boring programming, but little children love to see "good guys" win and that's who Vince is catering to right now. But Cena's title reign hast been too long. Give us a new champ!!

It's because they have him as a superhuman face...it would be a lot better if they had him lose matches...I think people also say that he isn't that great of a technical wrestler also but I think he has improved....basically its the writers fault...he's being used by them

ppl give him a hard time because they say he can't wrestle. if u saw in him ovw, he was a great wrestler. the writers for wwe make him act like he can't wrestle and limit what he can do in the ring. ppl need to understand that he is just doing what the script calls for.

I don't hate the guy. I think people dislike hime so much because of him being good looking plus the way the WWE makes him act.
