Some people give thumbs down because they don't like the answerer...it has nothing to do with the answer they posted. I also believe some people just run through questions clicking thumbs down on every answer. Being spotlighted might prevent some of that activity, but you still may not get the feedback you are wanting.

Not really. It would only cause more chaos between people. If a person don't like or agree with an answer then they give a thumbs down. I don't think that anyone should get offended or care enough to know who gave the thumbs down.

Yes that would be neat. The stars are for what questions the users find interesting. The thumbs were for if they were liked. I guess they changed it. Plus before we couldn't see who was giving thumbs up. Be nice if we could see who did give thumbs ups and thumbs down.

I never really cared. I think that it is their right to stay hidden if they want. I will say that their are a few cowards out their that can give insults but don't want people to know it was them.
