Well I saw the Jesus comparison, and this cult leader was shooting at Americans near Najaf. I don't remember Jesus carrying an AK. So yes it is fine to kill this particular cult leader. It is important to note that many insurgents launch their attacks from mosques for the sole purpose of having Americans shoot and destroy holy sites. This is unfortunate for both sides.
