Plumbers, electrician, carpenter, bricklayer - all very well paid and there's loads of work at the moment.

My husband has been in masonry for 15 years, he's 33 and yes it pays good but we have no insurance or retirement, so that'll be left to me once our oyungest goes to school in 3 years... Once that transition takes place, he would like to get out of the trade, BUT if he's smart, he will use all his years, and his bi-lingual skills (he's caucasion) to either be a project mgr. or a superintentdent, all of which he could be hired on based upon his past skills. Well he does need some work at the typing! LOL
In all reality my hubby would love to be a golf teacher, but we have to be realistic which means using the skills obtained in the past and using them for the future whether it be soley the knowledge or the hard work)

Don't forget about contracting any trade, pays well! And you can keep all his records for him! We've made GREAT money that way!
Also, the union, which here in TX only pays 18.33 an hour for bricklayers BUT you move up quickly and have all the benies! I would really consider using his present trade though b/c no one wants to master 20 years worth of work and trade it in for 8 bucks an hour! Go to www.salary.com which is just awesome! This will show you what different trades make in different areas! Good luck!

I also worked for myself for 20 years in my own company, now I have a home based income stream. Take a look at this web site www.iolair.acnrep.com where you will get an overview of a business opportunity, which is simple requires no manual effort and can be very rewarding financially.

I would suggest something like plumber or electrician, a lot of money involved & you don't get laid off if the weather is rubbish!

My husband's a painter and decorator....there's tons of work out there. I'm a barber...people always need their hair cutting.
Also, there'll always be a need for undertakers...morbid but true
