It's my company's policy to have a drug test every 6 months and random testing 1 month there after.
I tested negative for everything except alcohol.
The the shipping biz it's not acceptable to have alcohol, however after saving ships from sinking and precious cargo from being lost at sea, drinking heavily is understandably. My company is pretty understanding about such things (especially since they can't find anyone else who is as crazy as I). Usually they just fire.

9 months ago for a job, i passed as i haven't used drugs in over 20 years. i smoked pot like 3 times when i was 16. i've never tried anything else and i don't drink or smoke cigaretts either.

when i was hunting for a job in september (before i got the job i have now) this one place i applied for wanted to give me a drug test.
i probably would have passed it because i was smart enough to stop smoking weed for a while when i was out job hunting.
i didnt do the test though, because their starting pay was not good enough to take a drug test for!

Never had a drug test. And never took illegal drugs. I hate to take the ones I need to take from my Doctor.

About 2 years ago. I have a Commercial Drivers License and my name is drawn at random to see if have been behaving. I was clean.
